Brian Cabana, Engineering Manager & Lead Engineer

Brian is the engineering manager of the highly productive engineering team responsible for the development of Quantrix Modeler and add-on products, DataNAV and DataPush. As lead engineer, Brian leads product design and development of new features and enhancements. He has actively participated in the design, production and testing phases of every release of Quantrix since version 1.0. He also provides developer support for users of QAPI and the Quantrix Development Kit. Additionally, Brian is the lead technical resource for IDBS in the integration of Quantrix into the IDBS software suite.

Prior to his tenure at Quantrix, Brian served in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer. After leaving the Navy, Brian obtained his teaching certification and taught math and science to high school students.

Brian earned a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine.

David Phillips, Marketing Director

David leads the marketing effort at Quantrix. He brings broad experience in software company operations - from marketing and sales to product development and project management. He's worked with both start-ups and industry-leading organizations. Prior to joining Quantrix, he was Chief Marketing Officer of Freestone Group, a software marketing consultancy.

As part of an international business career, David has lived and worked in N. America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. He is an alumnus of the MBA Enterprise Corps, a US Agency for International Development funded program that assists companies in developing countries.

David earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Lawrence University and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Martha Doughty, Program Manager

Martha is the Program Manager at Quantrix, responsible for project management, implementation of quality management practices and systems, and coordination with other global project teams in the development of integrated product suites. She oversees the Quality Assurance, Customer Support and Technical Documentation areas.

Before joining Quantrix, Martha led strategic software development projects for Unum for over ten years, with a focus on delivery of enhanced administrative capabilities for brokers, employers and claimants through the company’s secure websites. Prior to her tenure at Unum, she was a consultant, providing product development and project management services to corporate clients, and was also a product manager leading the development of new products at Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Martha is a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Project Management Professional (PMP). She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the University of New England.

Els Scholten, Customer & Partner Development Manager

Els is responsible for customer and partner development at Quantrix. She has over a decade of international experience in the business software industry in several customer focused positions including major account management, communications and public relations, event management.

Before joining Quantrix, Els was Key Account Manager for Scala Hospitality in Europe, a vertical market group of Scala Business Solutions that provided Integrated Financial Management Information Solutions (IFMIS) for high end hotel clients in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and South America. She held other key customer relations positions at Scala which included organizing international events and conferences, public relations and internal communications.

Els earned a Masters Degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands with a specialty in translation.
