Michael Salisbury, Senior Product Manager
Mike is responsible for leading the effort to define the product roadmap and strategy for the Quantrix Modeler application and its associated products. Mike also oversees the day-to-day operations of the Portland based Quantrix business unit. In 2002, Mike was the first payroll hire for Quantrix and worked closely with management to help grow the company from an entrepreneurial startup to the establishment of Quantrix being an important business unit of IDBS.
Mike has spent a career in customer facing technology roles working for software companies specializing in long term care, time and attendance and B2B online exchanges. Most recently, Mike served as BI Product manager for CIEE helping the organization to enhance the Business Intelligence capabilities for the financial and enrollment systems that supports their student cultural exchange program offerings.
Mike earned an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Maine at Farmington and a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management / Accounting from Thomas College.
Brian Cabana, Engineering Manager & Lead Engineer
Brian is the engineering manager of the highly productive engineering team responsible for the development of Quantrix Modeler and add-on products, DataNAV and DataPush. As lead engineer, Brian leads product design and development of new features and enhancements. He has actively participated in the design, production and testing phases of every release of Quantrix since version 1.0. He also provides developer support for users of QAPI and the Quantrix Development Kit. Additionally, Brian is the lead technical resource for IDBS in the integration of Quantrix into the IDBS software suite.
Prior to his tenure at Quantrix, Brian served in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer. After leaving the Navy, Brian obtained his teaching certification and taught math and science to high school students.
Brian earned a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy and a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine.
Els Scholten, Customer & Partner Development Manager
Els is responsible for customer and partner development at Quantrix. She has over a decade of international experience in the business software industry in several customer focused positions including major account management, communications and public relations, event management.
