Quantrix signs agreement with UCMS Group EMEA to provide Quantrix Modeler in Russia and CIS
Portland, ME – December 18, 2006 – Quantrix today announces that it has signed a strategic partnership with UCMS Group EMEA (“UCMS”), a global provider of business process outsourcing and on demand, business software-as-a-service solutions, to become a distributor of the Quantrix Modeler in Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States (“CIS”). Quantrix Modeler is a desktop business modeling & analytics software application that goes beyond traditional spreadsheet technology to enable professionals to develop models in greater depth and from multiple perspectives, while improving productivity, accuracy, and transparency.
UCMS has translated the Quantrix Modeler user interface into Russian, and will continue to develop other localized versions of the Quantrix Modeler to spearhead marketing efforts throughout Russia and the CIS.

Quantrix Modeler incorporates a unique approach that separates the logic of a model from the structure, which allows users to create and use formulas outside the confines of the cell. Formulas are expressed in words rather than by cell coordinates so they are easy to understand, trace, and audit. Users can make changes, incorporate new dimensions, and view multiple scenarios dynamically without redesigning or reworking their model. In addition to the core application, Quantrix offers an API (QAPI) that allows third-party developers to embed Quantrix into their software applications.
